Charleston?

It seems like everyone else has gotten some great advice about where to go on their Spring Break trips, so I thought I'd ask.

My friends and I are going to Charleston the second week of March. I know it's not a "typical" Spring Break location, but if anyone knew of some fun things to do, that would be great! So far it seems like I've only found historical things... and that's fun... but sometimes a four girls just need a mall and a good restaurant

Charleston is so much fun!

I'm sending an email to my friend who lives there to get the names of places that I like, since I can't remember. There's a great brewery-type resturant downtown across from the flea market. The flea market is open Saturdays and Sundays during the day, and is absolutely wonderful. It'll take you the whole day to make it through.

The bar district has some good places. The one I liked (again, waiting on the name) has all these frozen drinks (like 15 different kinds) that are the specialties, and great dance music. There's also "Bubba Gump's" which is a rest. based on the movie.

If you want some history, walk around the house district. The guided tours are a little pricey, but worth the money if you're a history goof like me. Also, do the ghost walk! It's a tour of the most haunted places in Charleston, held after dark most nights. It's way tourist-y, but can't be missed.
