So as it turns out, my father leaves either the 15th or the 16th.
My sisters know this and they have been a wonderful source of support, even if they do not have friends or family affected by what's going on overseas. During roll call, some girls opt to say "Proud to be an Alpha Gam" rather than "present". I said "Thankful to be an Alpha Gam" b/c only the night before, so many had offered their ears to me as I poured out everything to them.
