There was one of these floating around the University of Dayton today, too. BF and his friends were curious about it, so they traced the IP. It comes from www.spo0fed.com, which generates fake cnn.com stories. Anyone can write one if they so desire
This one is much better than the other one I've seen. You just have to assume CNN is going nuts about the use of their logo, etc.
Gonna be a BIG lawsuit if/when they catch the pranksters.

Better be sure your anti-spyware countermeasures are up and running... about as soon as I closed that browser window (not GC! ) I got bombarded by a slew of pop-ups. Luckily, my anti-spyware stuff intercepted them before they could worm their way into my system.
