PIKE Formal

Now, i'm SUPER excited about PIKE formal. . .

Not only am I going. . .I was nominated for Dreamgirl. I started screaming and hugging my guy friend who told me. I feel so honored because as long as I've been in schools. . .and around predominantly white fraternities especially one so traditional. . .I have never heard of a black girl getting nominated for a sweetheart of any fraternity(PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG).

Anyway, on to my question, is our PIKE chpater the only one having their formal on March 1? I know that our chapter is super excited about them being able to have it on that day.

Congrats on being nominated for Dreamgirl. My chapter always says that those who are Dreamgirl material are the kinds of women we would rush if they were guys. So it sounds like you could get a bid!

I can guarantee that Pikes around the country would love to have you as their Dreamgirl. I would also bet that several of our chapters have had black women as Dreamgirls. There's certainly something to be said for it, and I'm sure that you are a most worthy candidate.

As far as Pike chapters having their formals on Founders Day, I don't really know of a whole bunch that do. But then again I could be wrong. We are planning an event with alumni and their guests...not a dance but a semi-formal dinner with keynote speaker. Should be a great time!

WC I am so excited for you! I can't believe that they have not posted a list yet. You know that they are having their formal out in the middle of no where? I am so excited for you and have a great time with your hot date.

congrats on being nominated for dreamgirl, I hope that you have fun at the formal. Our dreamgirl isnt untill May but we are having a dinner on that day.
