Apparently, my school (MTSU) is going to have formal NPC recruitment a WEEK BEFORE classes even start next Fall. Personally I don't like this, for a couple of reasons (probably more that I can't think of right now).....
1) Girls who didn't know about rush prior to coming to college won't have the opportunity to sign-up for it.
2) If the dorms aren't even open , how can the girls who aren't from this area -- especially out-of-state -- be there??? Normally, the dorms don't open until a couple of days before classes begin.
Does anyone else's school do early rush, and if so, what are the advantages and disadvantages? The year I went through, it was the 3rd week of classes, and last year it was the 2nd week. It seems to be getting earlier every year.
