National Website
Hey, are there any other Shiny's out there? I just wanna know if anyone else is having trouble logging in to the alphagammadelta.org member services? I'm the AY Alumnae Relations Coordinator and I know I can get our alumnae list from the website, but it tells me that my information is invalid. I do have my card w/ my chapter and roll number and I've tried every variation of my first name (just incase I was initiated under Jess, which I don't think was the case because when I filled out my stuff for IHQ, I used my formal name of Jessica) and I'm still not a valid Alpha Gam. My pledge class was initiated on Nov. 17th, 2002 and I know that IHQ has recently update the site....the "In the Spotlight" thing is different now (finally).

Hmmm...they may not have updated the member services roster yet. That takes a little time, and you've only been initiated for two months! Most likely, they just haven't added you yet.
Call IHQ and ask about it. If they say you've been added, the only other thing that I can think of is: if you have zeros in your roll number, don't input them. The sign-in section is a little funny about zeros.
Hope this helps!

We didn't have the IHQ website when I was initiated, but I remember it took me forever to get my first issue of the Quarterly. And it still takes me forever to get my Quarterly!
Gotta love AlphaGam time!

Alumnae Listing
With all the hundreds of new sisters initated in late 2002, it's possible that your name has been not added to the website database link.
Unfortunately, once you log in, the listing won't be as easy to access as you think. You can search by chapter, but then you have to individually click on the sister's name to find out her address and possibly email addresses, no phone numbers.
Do you have a local alumnae chapter or club? They are allowed 1 geographical listing per year.
A few months ago, AGDs could purchase a Fraternity directory but it won't be published until next month, I think. Perhaps a local alumna ordered one.
Just remember that any listed address is one that the Fraternity was given once, even initation decades ago, which may not have been changed the last time she moved, got married.. divorced...married, lol.
Best of luck!Edited portion: The Alumnae Pres. or Perm. Sec. may request a printout of chapter's initiated members to update or create a Chapter roll. It can be made for ALL initiated (prob. removing those not in GS), or since a certain date. The AC will be billed.

I had the same problem when I was first logging in.......I got initiated Fall of 2001, and I couldn't get into member services until about Summer 2002!!! It probably just takes time for them to put in all the new initiates......

You may want to call IHQ and see what the issue is. I know I had issues when I first registered with the site and had to call for help (and I'm a member for many years!).

You can always get an older sister to sign in for you until the roster is updated. When I signed up, I didn't have my member number handy, so I e-mailed the webmaster and got a response in a couple of days, so that might work too.
Speaking of chapter listings, is there a fee involved in getting one from IHQ? If so, how much is it? It's probably much easier to do that than to screw around with the sister search on the website. Thanks!

The fee is 3 cents per name plus $4 handling fee. If you want it snail mail you need to also pay postage or they can email it to you (in Excel or Word). You can request by zip codes (you need to provide) or by geographic (30 mile radius). Audra at IHQ can answer any specific questions.

So new sisters be patient!
