I don't know how the "powers that be" came up with this. Anyone who knows my FULL first name and my last name can tell you that it is not common. Therefore, I wonder how they came up with this analysis.

Same here. Throughout all my years of schooling, I've never run into another black person with my last name. When I was applying for jobs years back, I would walk in and introduce myself and you could see the surprise on their faces. Umm hmm you couldn't tell by the name who you were dealing with.
