Arsenio Hall getting a second chance to host?
Sorhors and friends of Sigma,
It seems that Arsenio Hall is going to get another chance at hosting a primetime T.V. Show. That's right he is going to host the new and improved "Star Search." Hopefully, he will do a better job with this one.

Wait..... Has Arsenio done Prime Time before? Please refresh my memory because the only thing I remember is "The Arsenio Hall Show", and that came on after 11 pm. (Prime Time = 8 pm - 11 pm.) I'm sure he'll be good at it, but I miss his late night talk show because it filled a huge void for the "urban" market.
The only thing I'm not feeling about the NEW and IMPROVED "Star Search"? Arsenio's hair. I think the locks/twists aren't a bad look on him...but he dyed them. Just wrong.... As long as the show isn't up against "American Idol", "Star Search" will have a chance.

Sorhor Jojopeach,
He played a detective on a police show with the heavy set Asian martial arts police office that came on before "Walker Texas Ranger." Arsenio joined him during the second and third seasons as his side kick. They tried to have the same humor as Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in the first "Rush Hour." You see that it didn't work for them and the show went of the air. I believe the show was called Martial Law.

hmmm...
i hate to be negative--really, i do--but hasn't arsenio outlived his shelf life? i never was extra hot on arsenio, but i think his time to shine was over after he made that little statement on the news during the L.A. riots after the rodney king incident.
everybody has their moment, i just think his should be done...AND the thought of aresenio with dreads or twists just makes me SHUDDER!

Thanks, Sorhor SeriousSigma22! I would have never known because I never watched that show.
And NO soror, the brother shouldn't get a break. Honestly, was there no one better? Maybe everyone else decided to steer clear of the project. Maybe he needs to get more involved with producing films and TV shows like other people, ie Tim Reid. Bless his heart.
Did anyone watch it? I was in chuch. (I spelled it right. lol)

Sorhor Jojopeach,
I know that I'm not gonna tune in, however, I noticed that CBS is advertising that the show will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays!
Why? Why? Why? Now I know that CBS is not trying to double our pleasure.
