DAWGS beat FSU!
No suprize there, too bad we couldn't play a better team. Bolden should become FSU's new quaterback even though he may be a great reciever. He has a great arm, can't believe how far he threw that pass that the reciever dropped.

My best friend is going to be so pissed. She goes to FSU, and her brother went to UGA... guess who she went to the game with?

I feel bad for the suger bowl because of a four loss team being in the game. I bet it was a ratings disaster, I had no interest in the game.

It was actually a pretty good game. Even though I am sorry that the Seminoles lost I will congratulate UGA on a great season...first 13 win season in the history of the school.
And on a completely unrelated note...War Eagle!! Congrats to Auburn on their win over Penn State

I thought the game was a little dull, but that pass that turned into an interception (and a 71-yard run) was pretty amazing. It's good to see the Dawgs as national champs again. It's been way too long.

Just as an FYI the Dawgs aren't National Champs...Miami and Ohio State are playing for the National Championship this Friday in the Fiesta Bowl.

True the Dawgs are number 3 in the BCS this year, maybe national champs next year. FSU certainly won't be national champions next year unless they get some more talent.

Very true... I can only hope that they live up to the tradition of athletic and academic excellence set by Valdosta state.

My bad.. I guess I'm just thinking of the old days (1980) when the Dawgs won the Sugar and were crowned National Champs.

Was that a jab? Valdosta State is a great team for division 2 football. To bad we lost the national championship this year. We are starting a great traditon but we have only started playing football since the early 80's. I admit FSU has been great in the past but not lately.

New Orleans was an experience, but the game was fun! I, too, wish we could have played someone else besides FSU. Personally, I would have liked to have played USC, but everyone else wanted the student/teacher match-up with Richt and Bowden.
I'm just glad we have extended Mark Richt's contract. I've been pretty impressed with his emphasis on character which seems to be lacking in sports today.
It's great to be a Georgia Bulldawg!

Something that struck me related to this...
The commentators mentioned that the black bones on the players' helmets reflected academic achievement. The white ones reflect athletic achievement. Did anyone else notice how few black bones there were?
