Blast 2

I just cant gush enough about Blast 2! I went to see it tonite and... OMG... it was just fricken AWESOME! Did anyone else get a chance to see it?!

Blast 2? I always thought they just changed their show every year. Shockwave, created by Blast is also cool.

Even though Blast was created because Bill Cook is a sore loser (j/k), I think the show is awesome. But I'd rather watch DCI.

I remember when it was on PBS during their pledge weeks a couple years back and my parents were like "Um, sarah, there's colorguard people blowing whistles and spinning in some stage show on TV..." (it was lemon techno) and i sat there and was mesmerized....! haha

Blast! is awesome, really. One of my friends is on tour w/ them as a sound tech, actually I'm jealous. He was NOT a band-o in HS! grrr......

comparing DCI to Blast! is basically comparing DCI to WGI....outdoor band/guard/marching stuff is ALOT different than indoor stuff. And, as they tell you, Blast! is a "theatrical experience".......lol

I wouldn't be so sure about that, my friend. Who beat Blue Devils for the third year in a row, getting the higest score in DCI history this year? Oh, that would be my Cavalier boys! 99.15, baby!!

lol I know I know, but of course, DCI does focus more these days on GE and not music, which BD clearly has over the Cavies.
