Some girls carry it differently than others...
A weight/height ratio is too little to go on.
And how fat is too fat? Well it depends on for what purpose
As long as you're healthy though you're not too fat.

This is very true. I'm 5'4" and I weight ~135-140 pounds but I look like I barely weigh over 100.

As a former high school teacher who has dealt with countless girls who fret about their weight (been there, done that myself..)
First of all, no one can say another is "too fat" -- because there's always someone else who thinks you're "just right." Plus, as ktsnake said, people carry their weight differently than others.
But, this shouldn't be an excuse to be overweight. Your goal should be to look "healthy."
If you find yourself eating pizza 2 times or more a week, french fries & other fast foods, cookies, etc... well, that's certainly NOT a healthy way to live. Forget those late night eating binges, too.
Many girls judge their weight by which stores they can shop in, ie, if they can't find anything that fits them in the Gap/ Abercrombie/Old Navy etc, then they try to lose weight. However, this is not always a good predictor.
Exercise, plus a healthy diet - these are the keys to getting (and staying) in shape. Don't make any excuses.

Healthy is good. However in our soceity it is sill how you look. If you "look good" the number of pounds don't make as big a difference. Unfortunately if you are overweight there is still a stigma whether you are healthy or not. (Come on, be honest!) Unfortunately it seems that prejudice to fat people is still an accepted one.

And always keep in mind....muscle ways more than fat! Some girls are just more solidly built than others.

While I agree in main with what everyone has said here, I do want to disagree with one thing - there IS such a thing as too fat. If you literally can't get out of your house or your bed - or your weight is presenting MAJOR health issues - it shouldn't matter whether anyone appreciates that look; you should seek medical attention to help you with weight loss.
That said, I'm talking around 500 pounds here, not 160!

Why was my post deleted? She asked a question and I gave her an answer.
Once again, yes, you're fat.

Contact- why are you concerned over how it's perceived? How do YOU feel about it? Do you feel healthy? What's your BMI, etc.? If you're athletic, 160 on a 5'4 frame wouldn't be much at all.
Just putting a height and a weight together mean nothing... it's all in the context of everything else.

And you are...? I swear...people that are new to GC, boy...I tell ya.
I personally don't think 160 is fat for 5'4, because I have seen very athletic girls weigh around the same thing and NOT be fat at all.
I am 5'8 and weigh 134. I don't work out much anymore but a few years back I used to be obsessed with it (I was involved in 2 sports heavily). I am one of those that believes that if one wants weight off, all they need is hard work.
That being said, why on earth do you car what people think of you? None of our opinions matter anyway. Don't let others determine your own self-worth.

Granted Imthechamp is rude about how they are responding but i almost have to agree, a weight of 160 at a height of 5'4" is considered on a BMI scale of 27.5. Well into the Overweight catagory. Also the average weight in our country in 5'4" 144 pounds which is a size 12.
From CDC.gov or Center for Disease Control.
BMI compares well to body fat but cannot be interpreted as a certain percentage of body fat. The relation between fatness and BMI is influenced by age and gender. For example, women are more likely to have a higher percent of body fat than men for the same BMI. At the same BMI, older people have more body fat than younger adults.2
BMI is used to screen and monitor a population to detect risk of health or nutritional disorders. In an individual, other data must be used to determine if a high BMI is associated with increased risk of disease and death for that person. BMI alone is not diagnostic. 3
How does BMI relate to health among adults?
A healthy BMI for adults is between 18.5 and 24.9. BMI ranges are based on the effect body weight has on disease and death. 4
A high BMI is predictive of death from cardiovascular disease. Diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure and osteoarthritis are also common consequences of overweight and obesity in adults. Obesity itself is a strong risk factor for premature death. 5
BMI Cutpoints for Adults
We interpret BMI values for adults with one fixed number, regardless of age or sex, using the following guidelines:
Underweight BMI less than 18.5
Overweight BMI of 25.0 to 29.9
Obese BMI of 30.0 or more

So where's your picture? You'd better be cute as hell to be talking like this to everyone. Or maybe you yourself are "fat" and bitter because no sorority girls will talk to you so you come on here and try to cause trouble. Or maybe you have some sexual fetish for larger ladies and are in denial.... What's your deal?
And not that your post really deserves an answer, but no, i'm not fat, sorry to disappoint you. And i'm not hiding anything like you are by not posting a pic- my pic has been seen by many on here, as well as several people have actually met me in person.
Are you in a GLO? Doesn't seem so from any of your posts. So why are you here?
