It might be a different party when the senate AND house are led by people who are comparitively moderate to their predecessors. I guess we'll find out what everyone thinks in a couple of years.

Technically, the above is probably true, but the guy was really doomed when he made his incredibly stupid comment.
I wouldn't be at all unhappy to see him out of the Senate.
