Hell yeah I ski! I go to school in Florida but I'm home in Illinois right now and I want to hit some slopes... as soon as I get adjusted to the cold.

Tried skiing last year and I hated it.

Gave snowboarding a try because I thought...hey...it's like skateboarding. After multiple displays of making myself look like an idiot, I finally got the hang of it.

I'm crossing my fingers that Mauna Kea will get some good stuff soon.

I haven't gone snowboarding since soph, year of college but if everything goes as planned I'm taking off to Michigan this weekend with some brothers for a weekend of snowy mountain insanity.

Or, I might just sleep because I can't seem to lately, but finals are over.....

Skiing is great! In Oklahoma we don't get the opportunity to do that very often. Maybe after I graduate I can get some decent *real* holiday time in.

Oh man!!! I love skiing, it's the only thing snow is good for! This will be the first winter since my sophomore year of HS that I won't be going skiing. That winter was the first time I went, and I fell in love with it.

I've actually been having dreams about skiing, and my friends are planning a ski trip during New Years, but I will be busy on a cruise, so I can't go, nor can I complain. It's just sad taht I can't do both.

I just got back from sking in Tahoe this last week. I went for 2 days and hated it but everyone tells me that the first time is always a tough one and to give it another try (of course it didn't help that they had a blizzard making skiing a bit tough). I can't believe how some of these kids can ski so easily (and snowboard)they looked like they were 6-8 years of age-I felt like an idiot. They had a T-shirt that says "I suck" with a big green dot (indicating the bunny slopes)-I should have purchased it!

no no no...if they don't allow your board, you take off, quick jump on the lift and get it on!!!!

Of course you may either:

A. Be sent to jail
B. Get kicked off the mountain
C. Fall face first off the lift a second after you get on because you jumped on so fast that you slipped to the other side of the seat and went flying off going "booooooom."
D. You will be mobbed by masses of angry skiers yelling and confessing their hatred toward the devil (snowboarders).
