Real Estate Appraiser

Does anyone know anything about being a real estate appraiser? I seems kinda interesting and I would like to find out more information but I haven't really been able to find much. Thanks for your help.

I am working at a real estate agency right now, and kind of quizzed one of the brokers on what he thought of real estate...

First of all, I found out there isn't a difference between schooling to be in commercial real estate or regular real estate, but there are far less people doing commercial... to me, that seems like the way to go.

Also, he mentioned that he really didn't learn much in real estate school, but has learned more just from hands-on experience, and from the other brokers...
