anyone from william paterson university?

Hey girls! My name is Deena and I'm am planning to pledge Theta Phi Alpha at William Paterson University in NJ. My friends and I were working on bringing a new chapter to our school, but since the number of Theta's here is so low, they only have 5 active sisters, we decied to take our ideas and bring them to the Theta's...hopefully with the intention of making them more social around campus and getting their name out so that more girls will want to pledge. My question is if anyone goes to WPU or knows anyone who does and might want to pledge with us and help us change things around for these nice girls. If you could please email me cr8zeebabe@yahoo.com...i would really appreciate it...Thanx girls!

I have to say I am so happy to hear that you are thinking of breathing life into an old chapter on you campus instead of starting a new one. I am currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh and a memeber of Theta Phi Alpha Kappa Chapter. Four years ago when I was a freshman one of our older chapters on campus folded. It was sad to see that girls were not interested in taking interest in the chapter. You can do a lot with that chapter and I hope that you make the chapter a strong one. My sugesstion to you is bring in all your friends. I find the one thing that make our chapter one of the strongest on campus is not the numbers (we are in the mid to lower range number wise) but is our friendship. We take the word sisterhood seriously. I can not remember the last time a sister left the chapter, for we make Theta Phi Alpha a second home. I hope you are able to do the same
