Question New Years Resolutions

Does anyone besides me make these?

I have skipped a few years, but my new years resolution for 2003 is to start classes for my Masters Degree this summer.

What's yours?

I've never found it necessary to make resolutions for the new year. However, THIS YEAR, my husband and I have decided that there are some things that we NEED and WOULD LIKE to accomplish. I think that by being TRUE to ourselves and by AFFIRMING OBTAINABLE goals (for ourselves...everyone is different), we will be able to accomplish these goals in the new year. ANOTHER added incentive to setting resolutions (for me) this time is the fact that my husband and I are going to do these things...TOGETHER. That word, "together", seems to put some fire and motivation into what we're trying to accomplish.

We've decided not to let anyone (except God...and He already knows what they are) know what our resolutions are. I've learned that the devil is extremely busy. And sometimes it's just good to keep things (especially positive things) to yourself because the very people you THINK wish you the best are the ones who don't want you to accomplish anything. But rest assured, as each of our goals are met within the new year, I'll be posting it.
