Question how do you get hair dye stains off your hands

When my roomie was dying my hair last night I accidentally got some of the color on my hands, and now they are stained brown in some spots (appealing huh? ). So my question for you all is how do you get stained hair dye off of your hands? We've tried nail polish remover, oops, and washing my hands with soap and water several times, but there is still some left. Is there any miracle thing that will get this off? Thanks!

Try something semi-abrasive - like an exfoliant, a loofah, facial scrub, etc. It's like self-tanner. Once the color's there, it's there, and until the skin cells that are colored start coming off, some of the color will still be there (although the more you wash it, it should keep fading). Something rough will remove any of the colored cells that are dead faster than just washing alone, so it should (in theory) come off fairly quickly.

Good luck!

That's what worked for me. A nail brush and lots of soap....wash, wash again, and again, and again....

Maybe try vinegar? It's supposed to help with stains in laundry...
