Hope you enjoyed your turkey even though you wanted shrimp.

Happy Thanksgiving, Tom. I ate turkey with the fixings and shrimp. Plus a BIG slice of Junior's cheesecake which is heaven on earth.

What could have been a NIGHTMARE turned out pretty darn good!
Menu was
Appetizer-Kentucky cheese spread on sour dough bread slices.
crab bisque
fresh salad
Roasted lamb and duck l'orange.
3 sides-mushroom, green bean and corn casserole
Chocolate yummy and bread pudding
Wine-wine and more wine
Frangelica for after dinner

SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY OVEN!!!
Just wasn't heating like it should. Had to finish the meats in the micro. Sat down to eat at 6 but it was planned for 5.

After, we played the new edition of Trivial Pursuit! TOOOOOOOOOO HARRRRRRRRRD!!! It was frustrating rather than fun. Still, we all "united" as we griped about the game. Can I get a refund???

Tonight, we have HIS side for Thanksgiving number 2. Granny is bringing Gumbo and Tx toast and I'm doing Shrimp Remoulde, fresh salad, mincemeat pie and left over bread pudding.

Yep, should have done the Shrimp and Crab legs!

Stuck the Turkey and was trying to get off of the plate and run!

Guess I did not gas it long enuff! Well so much for turkey!

Never, never again! Will do cold cuts first!

Thank goodness it is over and back to work. Bah Humbug!
