I live in Columbus, very near OSU campus, and I try to avoid homegame Saturdays.
I don't need my car set on fire, thank you. lol.
But if I can meet up with some GCers it might be worth the risk.

SilverTurtle, we'll be over at Hineygate...and so will everyone else and their mom. We're all staying at the Embassy Suites. We figured it was far enough away to avoid cars being overturned because of the Michigan plates on my friends cars, lol.

I am a Mich fan but I could care less about the game. I hope OSU wins, than gets crushed by Miami just to show the truth to everyone who has given me crap about me saying how weak the big ten is year in and year out. If Ohio St loses, who does the big ten have to send to a bcs game? Iowa?

Ok I hate to break it to you, but Iowa really isn't that bad. Best QB in the country, best rush defense, one of the best kickers, and ranked 6th. seriously, get a little conference pride.

Chopper- It will be interesting to see who is ahead of who, Texas or Oklahoma.
Iowahawkeye- Oklahoma beats Iowa st 49-3, Iowa loses to the same unranked Iowa St team, than people wonder why I have no big ten pride. Best qb in the country? Dorsey, Grossman, Gesser, Leftwich, and Palmer all might have a thing or two to say about that.

ND may be more appealing than Texas to bowl officials
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Ivan Maisel
ESPN.com
If the standings remain as they are -- and of course, they won't, but let's pretend they will -- Texas can forget not only the Fiesta Bowl, but the other BCS games as well.
Here's how the BCS bowls will look.
Fiesta: Miami vs. Ohio State
Rose: Iowa vs. Washington State
Orange: Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma
Sugar: Florida State vs. Georgia
Tyrone Willingham and ND may end up squeezing the 'Horns out of the BCS bowl mix.
If Miami is ranked first, then the Orange Bowl will declare the Big East champion as its host team. The 'Canes would be put in the Fiesta and then the Orange would get first pick among the at-large teams. The Orange Bowl wants the Irish even if they lose to USC and fall to 10-2.
"We have to put asses in seats. Notre Dame will fill us up," Art Hertz, a past president of the game, said Saturday in Knoxville. "The way the system is now, if we don't sell our tickets, we're in the hole."
That's no small consideration. The Orange Bowl ticket this year is $100.
The Rose, which would lose Ohio State to the Fiesta, would then get second pick and happily take Iowa. The Hawkeyes are not only a top-five team, but their selection would keep the Big Ten in the game. That keeps a happy marriage between the Tournament of Roses and the Big Ten.
Though Florida State has earned a reputation for not travelling very well, the Sugar won't care who is playing the SEC champion as long as Georgia, which hasn't been to New Orleans since 1982, LSU or Auburn is in the game. All three schools would fill the Superdome to the roof.

Iowa lost to ISU early in the season - Iowa lost that one by our own stupid mistakes, ISU didn't beat us.
Oklahoma just lost to an unranked Texas A&M team - who cares if they beat ISU 49-3. We at least lost to a ranked team, when we were unranked.
If youre looking at QB statistics, Banks ranks right up there with Dorsey, Grossman, Gesser, Leftwich & Palmer. The stats don't lie, that boy has done magic with the Iowa offense.

Not making excuses for Oklahoma but you apparently don't have a concept of how difficult it is to win AT Kyle Field. Someone from College Station should be able to back me up on that one.
Oklahoma should roll through the rest of the season. The Big 12 title game should get them past Texas in the rankings.
