What the F&*K is this show! I hve seen more intelligence in a nail for shows! Sorry, did not mean to bad mouth the nail!

Reminds me of Poloticians on the floor of the Legislatures!

Ignorance at its best! DADADA!

I have a family friend whose son LOVES that show. I always tease him and his father by starting out the tag line of the show...

"When you're at the check-out line and hear that beep... "

and he always screams, "just think, you could be on Super Market Sweep!"

He's in second grade, though, so I think it's just a phase

LOL! I've been watching that show since 89 or 90. I used to love it. I've always had my "strategy" worked out for how I would do the big sweep.

But, I'm a big dork who loves game shows.

Yes, I, too, am a game show dork, so I watched Super Market Sweep long before it was cool. Oh wait, it never got cool.

Personally, I always wondered why people didn't peek at money total of the bonuses they picked up. It's not like the sticker didn't peel off easily enough. Leave it to me to figure out a way to cheat at a stupid game.

Super Market Sweep is a wonderful part of game show history, but, to me, it pales in comparision to Card Sharks or Press Your Luck, which are arguablely two of the stupidest shows ever on television. Somehow, all of these shows have managed to become jokes in my family, in one way or another.

I was *so* thrilled when we got Game Show Network just so I could watch reruns of Press Your Luck! Big bucks and NO WHAMMY!!!!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Match Game...Bo-ring!

Yes!

When my family and I go traveling, each family member gets a CD choice for the cd changer. Once everyone puts in their CD, we put it on mix all. My parents aren't crazy about my or my sister's music, so everytime a song is over, my mom says, "Big bucks! No Whammies!" in an effort to avoid our CDs. It's become a family joke.

Since you have the Game Show Network, watch Card Sharks sometime. It has got to be the stupidest show ever. Whenever I just need a laugh, I watch that show. I'm not sure if it's the bad 79s clothes, the stupid questions, or the fact that it's so predictable, but it just slays me.
