Student Teaching

Is anyone student teaching now or next semester? I'm student teaching in the winter and I was hoping to be able to have a discussion with others who are also student teaching, or get some pointers from those who are currently working on it.

I am also getting ready to student teach in the winter. I just found out my assignment on Friday!

What grade/subject area will you be teaching?

I am working on my credential for secondary students (social studies) and will be teaching in a junior high.

Hopefully there are others who are in the same boat, or have been previously.

It would be nice to get a discussion going!

My major is in English/Literature. I don't know what grade I will be working with, but ideally I would like to work with 10th or 11th graders. My interview is on Thursday.
