A serious post...

Dear ladies,
Normally, I try to keep my posts light as well as short. Unfortunatly, this will not be one of them.

A year ago today, December 20, 2001, my perspective on life changed forever. My big sister, Stephanie, suffered a treamendous tragedy; her biological 16 year old sister was killed in a car accident. She was wearing her seat belt and driving home from work when she hit a bridge. She died shortly thereafter at the hospital. Her boyfriend of 4 years was with her; he survived. Stephanie and her mom lost so much that night; I can honestly say that Steph and her sister were more like best friends/soul mates then sisters.

I have never seen my big suffer as much as she did. I miss her terribly; she has since went alum. Unfortunaly, I feel as though I did not support her as I should.

But, every cloud has a silver lining!!!!! Stephanie has recently gotten engaged! Yay! She and Brandon plan to get married this coming May; right around the time Ashley would have graduated from hs and turned 17.

Please be thinking about Stephanie and especially Stephanie's mom....I would appreciate it. Also, hold your loved ones a little closer tonight.

I love you all...

In the brightest flame,

Blaire,
Thank you for sharing Stephanie's story with us. Such a terrible tragedy When I hear about things like that it makes me want to run up to the people dearest to me, give them a huge hug and tell them how much I love them.

I will keep Stephanie and *especially* her mother in my prayers.

DKZ,
Tracy
