It is NOT ok to start a thread blasting another user. AT ALL! It doesn't matter who you are or who they are.

If you have a problem with that, TOO BAD.

Address individual users via PM. If you can't PM them because their box is full or whatever, then wait. Further posts of this nature, will be deleted.

Read the Chit Chat guidelines. Embrace them! Ya dig? Thanks!

I gotta disagree here yet again. Certain posters from fishy Florida fraternities seem to enjoy degrading all types of women, WITH their sorority affiliation, but because some moderators appear to be totally freaking in love with certain fishy posters, they are allowed to continue to post and publically humiliate women, only to make themselves look all cool and pimp. If certain posters have no problem publically insulting people, why should everyone else be silenced to their offense of him? How is it fair that we should respond to public humiliation in private, and let this man walk tall as if he has been the one wronged.

What, is he smooth talking all you moderators like he claims he does to all his little "dirty ho's"?

I like this board, and the greek unity it promotes, but this person and people like him offend many people, and it needs to stop.

Stop silencing the people who are just trying to keep this place respectable for women and all greeks, and start silencing the people who make it the dirty with impossible stories of debauchery that do nothing but further bad stereotypes about the greek community.

Moderators,

Isn't this a public forum? Therefore, if something that is on here is offensive, simply remove it. But don't go around bitching about "bad threads", and then turn around and start one yourself to tell people to not start threads about other people.

Seems kind bass-ackwards to me.

Just my .02

Shine- We delete posts as fast as we can, and can not sit on GC all day waiting to delete things. If we miss things, point them out. None of the moderators are in 'love' with anyone on this board (at least not that I know of).

We have no control about who is allowed to post. That is John's domain - ONLY, no one else's. If you think that's unfair, that's something that you have to talk to John about.

ZZ-kai- The point of this thread is not to 'bitch' but it's to point out that there are no users who are 'above' having their posts deleted. I.E. If "Jane P. Everyone's favorite user" insults Joe D. her posts should be deleted as well. Even if everyone hates Joe.

All When one user insults another in a thread, we delete it, no matter who it is. Otherwise, we set up a double standard.

ZetaAce is very much right on this point.

John is the only one who can delete a poster! But remember, John is like the rest of us, cant eyeball 24/7!

I know who you speak of and it gets sickening! It has been discussed on the Mod. Thread but it is still Johns call.

Best suggestion, contact the Moderator of the thread, or any for that fact, anyother Mod via PM so it can be checked. It will be brought up and discussed

Moderators can only delete on the thread that they are control of.

I suggest to the Mods that things of this nature be deleted when it gets totally out of hand as I have seen and called to the persons attention. He tones down and then comes back getting worse and worse each post!

This is the best site ever so please dont abuse it but use it!

Thanks, Tom.

It's nice to see a guy finally step up and say that it's not acceptable for somebody to continually belittle women. Most fraternity men I know would not accept it either. BTW, LXA has a super chapter on my campus.
