I need some fun ideas!!
I do not know if you all know, but I am currently in the middle of getting an alumnae chapter of Alpha Phi going here in my hometown. There are 60 A-Phi's in the area and we are looking at having our first "meeting" the Thursday after Thanksgiving.
We plan on this meeting being about an hour and a half, since we will be having it at a restaraunt. I am looking for fun ideas to incorporate into our evening, as to not make it solely an informative session. One idea my partner had was to have a theme and ask that each woman bring a gift relating to the theme, which we will in turn donate to the Women's Shelter here in town. We are also looking for a fun game, or some sort of fun idea to close the evening. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!
(BTW, we are trying to "recruit" these women to join our alumnae chapter, so please keep that in mind. Thanks)
Tentative Schedule:
- Ice breaker at the beginning of the evening to "break the ice."
- Order food
- My partner and I will talk and give them information about why they should join the alumnae chapter
- Eat
- FUN EVENT
- Good-bye's
