Convention Coke Bottles

I guess it was just a matter of time before they started showing up on Ebay - one seller has the nerve to have posted a $500 reserve!!!

I just checked on Ebay and there is a bididing war for on coke bottle the current price is $102.61 the starting price was $25, but you get free shipping! I have a question, if not asking to much how much did the bottles cost at convention and what would make someone pay close to $500.00 for one?

I saw this mentioned on another board. It seems that the high-priced buyers are coke bottle collectors.

Oh ok now that may be the answer as to why they are so expensive! But in my eyes it is still a Coke Bottle, and $500 is too much to pay!

My brother collects Coca Cola memorabillia so I wouldn't be surprised if he is bidding on one of them.

And a bottled water from Atlanta, a letter opener from a regional conference, and the picture frame from Chicago. Not to mention various other items--a gold plated elephant that is "Delta inspired", a Delta key chain with the serenity prayer on the back. Actually many of the current DST items on e-bay are being sold by the same seller.
