At my school, Greek Week has social, educational, and philanthropic events to unite the greek community, and show a force on campus.
Our theme last year was "No Matter the Letter, Greeks Do it Better!" Our GW philanthropy was American Cancer Society. We had an educational speaker, Smoke-Out Contest, and money races to raise money.
We had everyone wear letters on "Opening Day", and had a big kick-off in the main courtyard of our university. On the final day, we had Badge Day, and had everyone dress in chapter attire and wear their pins to the greek awards.
This year our GW philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network, and we plan on doing a big dance marathon philanthropy event.
So far our top slogan choice is "GSU Loves Tha' Kids" (like the rap song)
