Saturday afternoon...
Okay, so I realize we already have thread about college football somewhere, and different threads about various teams. But this Saturday is a huge day in college football. I was gonna throw the big games out there and see what everyone's predictions are:
FSU vs. Miami
Texas vs. Oklahoma
Georgia vs. Tennessee
Okay, my picks...
The ' Noles of course, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Hmm my choices..
Miami , Texas, Georgia
If FSU can't beat Louisville how can they beat Miami?
I love Georgia but I think the Texas game will be the best game.

lol...okay...let's wager!
I got this idea from Steeltrap last year...
If Florida State wins, you have to come post a new thread on GC the next day titled "ALL HAIL LIBRASOUL THE GARNET AND GOLD QUEEN!"
And if Miami wins, I will do the same, except with ZTAngel and Orange and Green.
and zntke, the loss to Louisville was a fluke. Horrible play called at the end. Big whoop.

But still they should have killed Louisville. Louisville is a good team but FSU was supposed to be alot better. Oh well can't wait to Saturday.

The odds makers in Vegas have called for Texas to win by 3.
Not that they havent been wrong before, lol.
That would be an acceptable score in my book.

You're forgetting another big game - LSU vs Florida.
Yeah, we like to think they're our rivals, but we're not that good

They have OU-TX as a REGIONAL GAME??!!?
How is Miami vs FSU bigger than a #2 vs #3 game? Someone tell me please?
Well I'll be there so I really don't care who gets advertising money... I just happen to believe that the networks have their heads up their asses...

Regardless of rankings, FSU and UM have a heated, longstanding rivalry. Not saying it's bigger, but it has way more tradition.

Let me educate you then about "tradition".... OU-TX has more tradition than I've ever seen in a football game. They've been playing eachother almost since college football existed.
The game is played each year in Dallas -- neutral territory. Austin is where UT Is, Norman, OK is where OU is. Dallas is right in the middle.
The game occurs in the middle of the Texas State Fair at the Cotton Bowl. Just having the Fair around (which I believe is one o fthe world's largest) has PLENTY of tradition... In the Cotton Bowl each team is given their allottment of tickets... Exactly half the stadium divided down the 50 yard line. On the east side there is a sea of orange... On the west side is a sea of Crimson.
The game itself is one of the most heated rivalries around. It's ALWAYS a good game... OU and Texas have always been great teams.. and even when they're not upsets have been known to happen. We OU fans sport our upside down hook-'em signs at nearly every sport event basically waiting for this game.
It's been nice to be an OU fan the last 2 meetings with OU scoring 63-14 in 2000 (Texas was actually favored going into that one) and 14-3 last year. ANYTHING can happen in this game.
And it's REGIONAL!?!
Tickets are going for around $500 right now...

LOL. You have clearly never been to the state of Florida during college football season. I was not trying to diminish the importance of the UT/OU game, but trust me...when ANY of the 3 FL teams play each other, it is crazy.
I think all the Gators and Canes can back me up on this one, too.
