Here at the University of Delaware, we are putting on a symposium about "Responsible Water Use in the Garden" in March, 2003. We are currently working on figuring out our graphic image. We have two main ideas that I could use your help with.
1. We were thinking about a photograph of a garden that employs responsible water use. Maybe a xeriscape garden. Difficulity is, there are not many of those types of gardens out here to take a picture of. If we take a picture out of a book or off the internet, we have copyright problems. Do any of you have some garden photographs you think would be a good example? Would you be willing to have your photgraph on the cover of a brochure?
2. Our other idea involves illustration. We were thinking about a line drawing of a plant that represents wise water use. Or, a plant, like a trumper creeper, Campus radicans, twirling around a single drop of water. The difficulity here is that no one in my group seems to be an illustrator. Is there anyone who would like to try to illustrate this idea?
Since we're still trying to figure out which one would work best on our brochure, I can't promise anyone anything in return for trying. If we do pick your photograph or drawing, you will get full recognition on the brocure and in the symposium proceedings.
