Our National Webpage???

Ok, I luv Phi Sig with all my heart, but yo, I'm really upset about our webpage. I think that It's cool, but I want to see a little more to it. I was thinking that we can have a "sisiter's only" section, links to existing chapter pages, and I would like to see some pictures.

I'm in NY and I KNOW I have sisiters all over the US. I'd like a way to get to know you all and keep it touch. Don't get me wrong, GC is hot and I love meeting other greeks online. But most if the time, I sign on to meet other Phi Sigs. And to make matters even worse, I wrote to the webmaster a week ago and and no one even bothered to respond.

I want our page to be welcoming to visitors. Maybe we can even have a guestbook or something just so people can leave their comments and suggestions..

Am I the only one who feels this way about our web page?

Does anyone know who's responsible for it?

Do we know when or if it will be updated?

Everyone who went to LTS last summer voted on a look for the new webpage. We were told it would be up soon.... well its been a year...

The new site will have a sisters only section and I think the Sphinx will be online too...

thats as much as I know!

They've been saying that they've been working on it for the lst few years....I know a few years ago someone mentioned they were having problems with their web designer...they have the rights to our domain name, but we wanted to change designers...or something like that (?)

I'll be happy when it's done....it's so dull right now

the last sphinx I recieved, which was a long long time ago, said that it would be up shortly and even had a screen shot. They sent out a thing a while back to the archons saying that they needed the correct chapter web page address for linkage. It was supposed to be up "soon" months ago...

still waiting...

speaking of sphinx...the last one I got was the United we Stand one from october/november....has there been one since?

(The only reason I received that one was because i sent Karen at CO an email and told her I hadn't received one in a year and a half or more....she was nice in sending that out to me)

I sent in an article for our alum chapter, so I was wonderin if we made it in....

HI All,
Karen Stearns from CO emailed me at the end of May asking if they could use one of my quotes on their website. I of course said yes so keep an eye out for my name once the new one is up and running

I asked her when it was going to be up and she said they didn't have a target date but are pushing to get it up and going soon. If it isn't up before convention we'll probably hear about it then. Who knows maybe they'll wait to debut it at convention.
From what I saw last year it looked interesting. Can't wait to see what it will actually be like.

I agree that our national web page needs a little bit of re-decorating. Too bad I can't help. I am the web master for our chapter website this semester and I love everything about the web and html and graphics and all that nerdy computer stuff!! oh well guess we will just have to hope. By the way, how do you subsribe to the sphinx? are you automatically subscribed once you become a sister? i was new member class spring 2002 so I really wouldn't know. I probably should ask my archon but figured it would be nice to ask some phi sigs from around the nation. thanks!

hey there, what is your website URL? I want to make sure that it is added to our chapter roll listing on the Iota Gamma website. check ours out if you haven't already done so. it's www.csudh.edu/pss It's very basic since its the very first website I've ever done. My boyfriend is going to teach me dreamweaver and flash so I can start to spruce up the site slowly but surely

I still have yet to really update the website. This is all the work of the last webmaster Jen (who I truly love but she was really bad when it came to updating) and the webmaster before her Melanie (who did a really awesome job because she made up the whole color scheme and background starting it up from scratch). Anyhow it has pics of our house and stuff from derby days and they fall rush. I know some phi sigs who don't have houses were curious to see what the houses of other chapters look like. Ours is small, but its ours and we feel very lucky to have it. Plus, its cute and just perfect for us.

Your chapters webpage is one of the ones I really liked. Hopefully i'll be able to spruce Iota Gamma's up before the end of the year.

Hi There,

Imagine my surprise when I visited the WebPage today and didn't see the familiar picture of the Sphinx. Instead there were the words "Our Site is Coming Soon" and the brand new looking first page for all to see.

Lets keep an eye out for when it finally comes up. If anyone gets a chance if your the first to notice it please post it on here.
