Cool

I have just graduated with my major in Animal Science, my minor in Poultry Science and am attending Graduate School (part time) in Agriculture Extension.

However sisters, don't think that your major can limit your career opportunities! I am currently working with the North Carolina
4-H Development Fund helping plan events and such that raise money for the 4-H Program here in North Carolina! I've been working for going on four months, and absolutly LOVE it!

So, my advice is to find your passion and persue it. My heart is with the 4-H Program, even if my major doesn't reflect this. The future is yours to make--I wish you all the best!

I'm a pre-vet major. My roomate, who is a horticilture major said that it isn't a REAL agriculture major. Sorry, but all my classes are agriculture-related! I haven't been totally sure that it was what I wanted to do, but I worked in a vet clinic during the summer and learned sooo much. I decided that it was what I wanted to do the rest of my life.
