Question Csi

I was wondering if anyone has a career in CSI. I am really hoping to get involved in this. If anyone has some feedback for me that would be great! Thanks!!!

Just from the limited knowledge I have from criminology courses, take a LOT of science! Chemistry, biology, physics...all are very helpful.

A minor or major in chemistry or biology would probably help. Unless there is a specific track in your school?

Grim job by the way, its not like the TV shows.

You are kind of cute to be Quincy lol.

James I love you!!! You kill me sometimes, I am thinking more in the area of Forensic Psychology. Although I would love to be a CSI and I know it is nothing like the TV show but I still find it interesting.

I am also interested in doing forensic science. I graduated with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, but it doesn't do me much good. I'm planning on going back to get a chemistry degree.

It's fairly competitive to get entry level jobs, so I would recommend getting an internship of some sort to help you stand out.

I don't watch the TV show very often but from what I've seen of it, the same people do EVERYTHING, and that's not how it is in real life. People out in the field collecting evidence are not the same people who analyze it in the lab. If you want to be in the lab you'll need science, but if you want to be out in the field you would need a criminolgy type degree. Good luck!
