Lightbulb Recruitment Clothing

The year I rushed, our college Panhellenic changed the rules about recruitment dress. All the PNRs were given identical t-shirts to wear to opne house, and it was not until first invite that we wore our own clothing.

If any of you are in positions to do so, I would highly recommend suggesting this to your college Panhellenic. It is not feasible for this fall, but keep it in mind for the future.

As a PNR, it was one less thing I had to worry about my first day. They don't have to feel as though they are being judged by their clothing.

As an active, it was occasionally confusing, but the advantage was that I remembered women by hair color, height, etc. instead of clothing that changed from party to party.
Also, my chapter and many others wear casual clothing ourselves the first round, as it is mighty hot in August.

(just my two cents)
