Delta Gamma's New Website

Boo Hoo, I'm jealous

Everyone, check out DG's new and improved website at www.deltagamma.org

It's really impressive; their webmaster did an excellent job with it. I know I shouldn't complain, but I really wish ours looked more like this one!

I don't know anything about computer matters but I can't imagine it would be that difficult for a techie to do something like that would it?

Thanks, Ladies. My understanding is that our webmaster, Susanne Kondrake, does this on a volunteer basis. Our website was launched at Convention (I could not be there is person! boo hoo!)

I am hoping that they get the Anchor Trader shopping part finished soon, and also the Sisters Only section. I really feel that members of the general public should not be able to search our members' database!

Girls,
As a "techie" sister, I would like to say that it would take some work, but it definetly NEEDS to be done. I've checked out some of the other websites, tri-delt and ZTA also have great websites.

DZ lovin',
Mary

If you are interested in getting a new website for HQ and have the skills, contact them. I am sure that they would love volunteers!

The web site is handled by HQ and our PR lady Nancy Brewer. As with the Lamp, etc, they hire out or work in house directly from HQ. At this time they don't take volunteers for the website. I guess we can at least be happy we have one. We do have a Technical Development Committe headed by a Past National officer. You could contact HQ to get her information or check in the most recent Lamp. The more comments about our site, the more likely change will happen

I just went through a website relaunch at work...it's taken us A LOT of time and hard work, and we get paid! Also, it's better than the DZ webpage used to be.

Still, a refresher would be nice
