days on line?
I was just wondering how many days you pledged or were "on line" if your org. counts those things and if you are allowed to say...for example, i was on line, pledged for 71 days before i crossed over.

Our pledgeship is 2 and a half months, but it is so not hard. Being a pledge consists of receiving presents from the sisters and listening to them tell us how cute we are and how glad they are that we went ZTA. It was pretty enjoyable!
ambicion6, what GLO are you a member of? Your motto, "Together we shall seek the noblest" is very similar to ZTA's motto, "Seek the noblest." Interesting, isn't it?

I pledged for 7 1/2 weeks. Why the odd number? Well, let's just say one of my pledge sisters f'ed up But, one of my lovely favorite TKE friends wrote in my pledge notebook "Keep your chin up, and remember, it's the most fun you'll never want to have again!"
He was right

For Alpha Phi Omega, the national pledge standards say six to ten weeks. They don't count vacation in the six to ten weeks. But this is a case where the spirit is enforced rather than the exact law. If the pledge period would be 10 weeks, but a pledge gets sick and has to be initiated the following day, no one is going to take action. My pledge period was 9 weeks.

Ours is supposed to be no longer than 8 weeks, but the way our school and rush works, it has to be longer. I signed a bid the last Tuesday in October, and didn't initiate until Valentines Day weekend. In the middle of it though, we have a week of finals, a week for Thanksgiving, and 2 weeks for Christmas, and since bid day is so close to finals, we don't actually start FRED until after we get back from Thanksgiving, so it really is only 8 weeks, but seems like about 14.
