Wink Dear Santa/Hannukah Harry, please bring me...

Yes, I know it's August, but you can't tell me at least ONE of you isn't thinking about want you want for Christmas/Hannukah/your special winter holiday. Post your list/letters here.

Dear Hannukah Harry,

I have been very good this year. Please bring me:

*Another bookcase, unless you bring me some self-control to take to Barnes and Noble

*A big Amazon.com gift certificate

*The publication date for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

*An Elsa Peretti "Aquarius" pendant from Tiffany's

*Lots of new members for the ZE chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma

*A new pair of Stuart Weitzman pumps

*A Disney "Alice in Wonderland" 50th anniversary watch

*Decent weather the weekend of my wedding

*one pair of jeans that fits (stop that laughing)

Shalom,
KSG

Dear Santa,

Thanks so much for giving me a good year so far. I asked you last Christmas for a great year...thank you! This year, please bring me:

-Kent...healthy, safe, and unharmed from Ranger School. I'd like him in one piece when he finally gets to Hawaii. I'm in desperate need for him to sweep me off my feet!

-my long awaited...coveted...BA degree in Political Science and Asian American Studies.

-balances of $0.00 for my Visa, Mastercard, and Macy's credit cards

-a brand new Ford F-150 [color to be determined later]

-a new rack for my car...but should you give me that F-150 then disregard this one!

-a new surfboard [preferably Aipa] because the one I have is oooooold!

-that Paloma Picasso bracelet from Tiffany's that I've been eyeing out

-a decent Hollywood movie [not Blue Crush] that finally understands the art of surfing and living in Hawaii

-a clean bill of health for my mom

-an outstanding group of New Members for Delta Sigma and for all Alpha Gam chapters...especially our new Chapman Colony!

I think that's it for now. Should I have any more to add to this list, I'll be sure to let you know.

Mahalo and Aloha,
OTW

Dear Santa,
I've been delt a lot of crap this year so I'm demanding:

A nice, new, red, jeep liberty, tinted windows, multiple disc cd player with a sun roof.

All my rent paid for.

A's in all my classes

A shopping spree

I know that sounds bossy, but hey...you know I'm worth it.

Thanks!

Dear Santa,

Well first I want to thank you for a pretty good year. Thanks for making my first year in Dallas more exciting then I could ever imagine. Thanks for leading me my current job by making me a temp in the HR department first. But must of all thank you for giving me the strength to put up with all the crap at said job while I was pledging.

That being said this is what I would like this year:

-an unlimited budget so that I can get t-shirts and all kinds of other greek-related items

-money to go to convention so that I can meet all my new sisters

-a high paying rewarding job

-for Publishers Clearinghouse to come knocking on my door with a check for 100 million dollars

-for all my student loans to paid off so that I can go to grad school debt free

Santa, I don't think that I'm asking for two much. You know how hard I've worked this year. But if for some reason you can't grant all my wishes, could you at least send a decent paying job my way and pay off all my student loans?

Thanks so much,
makeda

Dear Santa:

I would like:

- a clean bill of health so i can pass all of my classes and graduate in May (last year I had mono )

- a Flat screen for my computer... look at me i am drooling

- a cd burner (USB connection)

- A really successful semester/year for my girls at SSU and Sac State and hopes that the high they are on (not that type of high ) continues for a long time. They deserve it.

- as much as i would like a boyfriend, i kinda just like hanging out and meeting all of these new guys. So being single rocks! But relationships aren't all that bad

- For the state of CA to pass their frickin budget so I can get a job for the state.

- For my family to make it thru the slight budget crisis.

Dear Santa,

Please make my mom and brother feel better-that is the most important thing this year.

If possible and if not asking too much, please give me a new cell phone and a DVD/VCR player.

That will do it.

Dear Santa-

Made some big decisions recently, so first and foremost I need some DIRECTION...a sign to tell me I am on the right path. I hope sacrificing a timely graduation date for a semester abroad is worth the time and financial burden.

A job that I can actually put on a resume when I graduate and apply to grad schools/ internships, etc.

For good health to find too many of my relatives in the hospital right now.

A bijillion dollars...the proverbial college wish. but, lord, would that make things a heck of a lot easier.

Dear Hanukkah Harry,

I've been a good girl this year. I would like:

- A job in my field (feel free to deliver this one early )
- Success in my certification exams
- The winning Powerball numbers before they are drawn (esp. if the jackpot is over $100 million )
- The stock market to recover, so my portfolio is again worth the paper it's printed on
- My lawn and new plants to recover from this heat wave
- A new car that I can actually drive when it snows
- The new Harry Potter book, and make sure I get to it before my husband does

Please feel free to take away:

- Those last 10 pounds I've been trying to lose
- My husband's allergy to cats... I want a kitten

No way! Hannukah Harry comes to my house every year and leaves presents under the Hannukah bush. Then he eats the extra plate of latkes we leave for him.

Just kidding Yes, my use of Hannukah Harry is a joke, but who else are we Jewish people supposed to write to? Hooray for SNL.
