Never Drink
5 jello shots, 3 rum and cokes, and a mudslide if you're 5 foot three. My mom was nice enought to buy me alcohol even though I don't turn 21 until 2 weeks from today. SInce I am moving to Florida she wanted me to have a little going away/21st bday party. It was really small-just family and some neighbors that I grew up with. But I gulped my drinks and i sure did throw up, but I feel much better now!! But it is really hard for me to read the threads since my eyes are a little fuzzy!

Hmmm, the first time I ever threw up from drinking was Cinco De Mayo 01. I went out with some sisters. Started the night with a strawberry margarita, Smirnoff Ice and then a tall bud light. Then at another bar I had two shots of tequila rose, a tall bud light, two long island ice teas...and then we ran for last call to this other bar where i had one last long island ice tea.
I never felt worse! Of course mixing my alcohol wasn't the smartest, but I think actually having "gotten sick" helped me NOT have a hang over the next morning (btw I have very little tolerance).
In the future, drink tons of water and take an advil or two before bed.

Hmm, sounds a lot like my recent 23rd birthday:
3 strawberry stoli vodka red bulls
2 cape cods
3 rum and cokes
2 lemondrops
2 STPs
1 kamikaze
2 chilled Crowns w/ Coke Backs
[I did not keep track of this, one of the sisters did.]
I am also 5'3" and I weigh 120 and yes, I did get sick. No, I did not drive that night, but we fit 6 people in the backseat of my Civic.

sounds like you had fun
Remember: Liquer before beer = never fear! Beer before Liquer = never sicker
First time I barfed drinkin' was clubin' in the city. I TRIED to break dance but man I was tanked. Everything in my stomach just got shaken up and combusted so I walked over to the bathroom and said to myself "hey, you'll feel better in the morning." and Bleh. I didn't feel horrible or anythin', it was just a matter-of-factly kind of thing. wierd, no?

I've been there. It was actually this summer. I was at a bar in LA called Barney's Beanery with a bunch of friends. I drank all of this in a 2 hour span.
Madras
Captian's & Coke
Sam Adams
Lemon Drop 1
Smirnoff Ice 1
Lemon Drop 2
Smirnoff Ice 2
Heineken
Pearl Harbor
Smirnoff Ice 3
Cosmopolitan
Mixing malts and hards was a BAD idea. I was sooooo drunk. But luckily, I didn't puke!

Reminds me of Sorority Life.
I had a little too many drinks at a bar about two weeks ago. I was buzzin at the bar and club that we went to afterward, but the liquor didn't hit me 'til on the way to a friend's place. I haven't been able to drink these past two weeks because alcohol still isn't my friend.

I hate to rebel against your sig line, but....
someone who's screenname is Dionysus DOESN'T drink??
Did anyone else catch the irony in that?

I actually made it home in one piece this weekend!
Friday night I managed to down 14 Jello shots (the only reason I knew how many I had was because I kept the plastic cups).
I also made an awesome drink. It used to be called Splash O' Vodka but this weekend I renamed it Yummy Goodness. You use a 1/5 of Vodka, cut up half a watermelon, and then add a little Hawaiian Punch.
Let's just say I was pretty rocked!

Ouch! Hope you weren't too hung over Good thing you have someone to take care of you.
I'm lucky enough to have never gotten sick from drinking, but I think this is mainly because I never mix my drinks... if I start with beer, I stick with beer for the evening. I also have a high tolerance for alcohol... I can drink my husband under the table, and he weighs a lot more than I do!
A couple of friends and I once went to a fraternity party, where one of my friends decided she wanted a Long Island Iced Tea. The pledge tending bar had no clue how to make one, and asked "What's in it?" She said, "Rum." He picked up the bottle of rum, there was a little over a shot's worth in it (more like 2 shots' worth), so he dumped the whole thing into the glass. She said "Y'know, there are several more alcoholic ingredients..." By the time all the alcohol was added, the 16 oz glass was almost full! Now, this girl weighed about 90 lbs, and we'd already had a few drinks, so we suggested she just take a few sips and abandon it, but she wouldn't - "How often do you get free booze?" (a logical argument ) So my other friend and I, knowing she'd be sick if she drank the whole thing, took generous sips of her drink ourselves. 2am, the party ends, the fraternity guys kick us out, so she swigs the last 2-3 oz of the drink, and we stagger back to our dorm. She was sick... and I learned that it is surprisingly difficult to take care of a sick person when you yourself are plastered... but we managed to clean her up and get her to sleep before going to sleep ourselves. From then on, we never let her have a Long Island Iced Tea

Children, Children,
Didn't anyone ever tell you not to mix different drinks on the same night? I'm not just talking about beer and mixed drinks -- but like rum and vodka or whatever.
Come on, guys! Be smart (or continue being sick)!
