My 1st DMB Concert!

I had to share...

Last night was my first Dave show!!!

I went in with high expectations, all you ever here is how awesome their live shows are. They didn't disappoint me, either. Man, what energy & talent. They played 2 nights here in Columbus, and this was the 2cnd. I heard from a few people that went to both that it was the better of the two, so I guess I was lucky. I'm still on a high from the performance!!

The only thing I didn't like was that I was on the lawn (which usually doesn't bother me much) and there were several very drunk folks behind us. One girl kept screaming whenever Dave talked (which wasn't much) so you couldn't hear him (the sound when he spoke wasn't too good on the lawn anyway, it was probably perfect in the pavilion where the sound guys are, though). And another guy kept answering his cell phone, and then shouting for entire 10 minute conversations about how it was loud and he was at a concert.

Even the idiots behind me couldn't take away much from the band, though. That definately won't be my last show.

Yah! How exciting! I've been to 2 Dave shows, so far, in Knoxville. It seems he likes to play there every other year. The last time he was in town (last year), I heard he went to the Old City (what we call downtown) and played an unplugged session. That would've been awesome to see! Dave is awesome!

That's awesome! I've never been but want to go so bad! They are in KC Sept. 3, but are sold out. If there is any way I can get ahold of tickets I'm there!
