Smile How'd it go?

Hey! Just wondering how everyone's rush went this semester. We took in 9 new girls. For some reason not many girls were interested in sororities on our campus this semester. But we did take the highest number of girls out of all the sororities. But, usually, we're take around 25! What's going on?

During informal winter rush numbers are really low, each sorority usually gets 2 or 3 girls. Well we started out with 5 new girls and now we have 6. We also took the highest number of girls.

People are just not interested in greek life anymore. I don't understand why...it is so fun!!

We got 6 new girls this semester, and even though it's a pretty low number--we're darn proud of it!!!

Spring recruitment is the same at my campus, and we tend to get a smaller group of girls this semester--I don't know why. Last night as we met to discuss Continuous Open Bidding I found out that we may have 2 more girls joining us!!!

We pinned 14 new members this semester - highest on campus, but still really low, especially considering sorority rush was really good this semester. We bid really hard, and it was just a down semester for numbers, but all of the guys are pretty cool so i think it'll work out for the best - i'd rather have 14 guys that'll end up being productive brothers than 30 where only a third will . . . but we'll see! anyway it was an ok rush . . . glad it's over though

I know that A Phi at URI took 19 incredible new members. And even better they only gave out 20 bids so women definitely wanted to be A Phi's!!

Well, we are about to initiate 10 new brothers into my Alpha Phi Omega chapter. It's a pretty good number considering that Spring Rush usually means a small pledge class.

we got seven really awesome girls, and considering that only 27 went through this spring thats pretty good. Us and one other soror tied for the most. Hey coffeemug, Im an A Phi too and am very proud that yall are doing so well. Where do you go to school? In regards to the decreasing interest? Whats is going on with that? We have noticed a decrease in rushee numbers also. Now Panhellenic (im VP) is sending recruitment groups to area high school to promote greek life, we are also trying to play a larger role in campus orientation...its all about the image...gotta be involved and show them being greek is the only way to be
