Thumbs down That Dang On DMV

Today was my first time in the DMV in a few months and let me just tell you. . .I HATE THE DMV!!! That place is one of the onliest place where you can see just a cross section of folks that make you go or or or

1. Today I found out NC wants your FULL NAME not JUST the middle initial. Not nary a one of my papers had my middle name on it. The mofo @ the DMV made me go get a piece of paper notarized from the bank. Now keep in mind the bank I went to did not have my MIDDLE NAME on file so hell I still could have been lying. I could have changed it from AGATHA (not my middle name @ all because otherwise my parents might have got disowned) to Alize. So at 8:20 in the morning I had to drive around for 40 minutes waiting for the Bank to open only to have to drive to a branch of my bank because I did not have an account. Even though when I got to a branch of my bank they did not even look up my account to verify nary a thing. Oh and the reason I did not bring my BC is because it did not say you needed proof of full name you just had to have it on the DL which I was perfectly willing to put on my DL since I happen to embrace my middle name, plus my middle name is MISSPELLED on my BC.

2. The mofos in the DMV who just do dumb isht. How you gonna come to get a CDL license renewed but not come with any identification?

3. The woman who came to get a State ID (which I believe should be in a separate place but that is a whole nother topic) but did not have her passport picture just the words that go by the passport. Oh did I mention she was wearing a drippy azzzzzz jheri curl that got on my shoes.

4. FINALLY the couple who held me up for an hour because they don't know ENGLISH so the test was read aloud to them and then translated in partial African partial English.

5. Oh I am still mad @ my cockeyed photo. I really do look like I am happy to be cock eyed too since I have a big azz cheese grin up in the mofo.

Can I just tell you I feel amazingly better since I shared that with you all. **exhaling**

So share your DMV experiences. . .

CT4, I have only 1 question

How is your middle name spelled wrong on your BC? Isn't that where it's suppose to be official. You got me cracking up early this morning at work.

Well, in the year I lived in North Carolina, the only DMV issue I had was with registration. I never changed my license from Tennessee. I got pulled over once, the cop let me go but told me to "get a North Carolina driver's license."

The following week, I renewed in Tennessee on the weekend before I quit my job.

My middle name is misspelled on my birth certificate. It is Jeanette because I was named after my paternal grandmother. The nurse, doc, whoever spelled it Jeannette (with 2 "n"s) and my mother didn't catch it until later. But it is spelled correctly on my SS card, DL, etc.

Hooooooney the one I always have seen had it spelled right but my father's brother (yeah I know) he somehow got copies of mine and my brother's and both had ERRORS.

On mine they misspelled with from an I to an A. On my brother's they gave my mother 2 Ls in her name. Keep in mind we have the same mother.

So my guess is my father's brother jacked up spelling.
