Well, one of my chapter's (Eta Lambda) favorite scholarship things is called Geek of the Week. At the chapter meeting each week, for every A you got on a quiz, test, paper in the past week, you put your name in a bag. At the end of the meeting, a name is pulled and that girl gets a prize. (And surprisingly, it's not the same people winning all the time.) It's kinda an incentive to do well. Then, our scholarship chair tallies the A's for everyone in the bag, and at the end of the semester, the person with the most A's gets a gift certificate to somewhere cool, like Victoria's Secret or Banana Republic. We also give end-of-the-semester prizes for all the 4.0's, highest GPA for the semester, and highest cumulative GPA. And the prizes are really, so the competition can get pretty cutthroat. But I suppose if we're competing over good grades, it can't be a bad thing!

Hope that helps!
