I don't care who the guy is. No man wants to sit there and cuddle and sleep next to someone for the hell out it. He sees some actions somwhere down the line or something that can be to his benefit.
As for having a friendship, I would say give it a chance. Often times I have found it better to try and have a friendship or just leave it said as a friendship. This way it makes it easier when you see each other out and neither of you cause drama. It also leaves the door open if you one day would like to start hanging out with him. (I have learned this through trial and error.) The thing is it doens't make you look like bitch if you give him a chance, now this is a loophole for you. If you say Ok but really don't want anything to do with him, act like you are cool with him for a week or two and wait for him to do something that seriously defines our sex and then tell him to get the hell out. If his personality is what you make it out to be, I'm sure he'll do something to piss you off.
