Might be. Gotta feel bad for David Schimmer tho. Both Matt Leblanc and Matthew Perry were nominated for best actor in a comedy. That's gotta be a slap in the face!

For the record, I do not love Raymond. Neither does my mom or my boyfriend.
False advertising, I tell ya....

I don't love Raymond either
However, I love love LOVE Alias!!! 11 nominations today, including Best Actress for Jennifer Garner and Best Supporting Actor for Victor "Spy Daddy" Garber. Hurrah!

ditto on west wing
it was a consistant player last year and deserves some love.
does anyone know about the hbo comedy that was nominated? no, not sex in the city or six feet under....the other one. we may be in the desert out here, but there is some degree of cable.
however, i don't think i saw this guy.
thanks

Don't laugh, but...
I really wanted to see Sarah Michelle Gellar get a nomination for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I know that it may be considered "fluff" TV, but she has always been really good in it, and the critics like her too. Also, too bad about shows like "Once and Again" and "Gilmore Girls" that were actually pretty interesting dramas that got overlooked. Sometimes, I think these things are solely based on what's trendy rather than what's really good (case in point, "Sex and the City"-is it really good, or just average and trendy?)...

I haven't watched Buffy in a while. Sarah Michelle Gellar was very good in the episodes when her mother died. She had won an Emmy for All My Children when she was a teenager.
Sex and the City is really good and trendy. It's well written and acted with interesting storylines plus great clothes and shoes. I can't wait for the new episodes.
