Just wanted to see if any of our wonderful GC members are venturing to Tucson in a few weeks for Convention 2002. I know APhiGal and I will be there -- so it is sure to be a blast!
Hello, my Alpha Phi sisters! Did anyone go to convention? How did it go? Please share your experiences. I hope to go the next one. Must start saving some money!
Convention went by so fast there was a lot to do and not very much time to do it in! I feel like I spoke with a hundred people but the only person I got to have a real conversation with was Lauradav (in my room next to a huge celebration for the incoming IEB) until of course I feel asleep!!
The weather was hot, the resort was terrific (got the best pedicure EVER) and sisters were plentiful.
Laura was at Rush U and I was always at convention assembled and other convention business meetings. I literally was 'on' from 7:30am (dressed in a suit) till 2am or so. It was exhausting. I was at the pool for 40 minutes my first day there before convention officially started.
Next convention is in Palm Springs - start saving now!! We can have the greekchat party in my room!
I won't be able to go these next few years. I plan on being out of the country the next 2 summers.
