XO's were very very good at A&M. Unfortunately, you usually had to be a legacy to get in. I did not try to get a rec b/c I am not a legacy and thus I did not go to their house during rush. Again though-excellent chapter.

Well, obviously there's no XO chapter here at the University of Hawaii, but I know that Chi Omega rocks because their Greekchat chapter is amazing!!!

I cannot figure out how to find my old entry regarding Chi O, but here is a brief idea...

I love them, they are great at ECU, in my day and will always be.

They are a role model chapter and helped my chapter during colonization. I hope that soon our new chapter will be top teir fighting with them for the #1 position!

Talking Nothin' but Love for XO...

Oooh, we had some ferocious battles with Chi Omega over the prize rushees during my years at Pitt! They were our biggest rival, but we still respected them because they were just great girls! XO was a very close second choice for me and I felt confident filling out my pref card that I would have been happy there if I hadn't gotten DZ.

The Pitt Chi-O's went through a few lean years, but I understand they had a FANTASTIC rush this fall and I know it's only a matter of time before the legendary recruitment battles start up again. Not a group I would ever count out!

PS Two of my best friends in the world are Chi Omegas, and I also think every one of the Chi-O's on GreekChat are awesome ladies

The Chi-O's at the UA are a very strong chapter. They aren't what would be thought of us the rich girls or the prettiest but they always make quota and are well above total. They're very down to earth and all of the chi-o's that I have met have been very nice. They just got a brand new chapter house a few years ago and I know that a lot of people really like it.

Chi-O is extremely strong at Duke, and respected by pretty much everyone - they're not snobby and they aren't hung up on all of their members being thin and "hot" (and contrary to what some here might think, that doesn't make them "weak" or unliked - they have no problems with the fraternities liking them, the other sororities like them, and even non-greeks say they're a cool group). Very down-to-earth. I like every Duke Chi-O that I've met. They have the most members out of any sorority here, I think...if it's not the most, they're in 2nd.

Chi O is a wonderful house at FSU. They are pretty and many of them come from wealthy families. All of the ones I have ever encountered are very sweet and down to earth. They always do well in All Greek competitions and seem to have a lot of spirit.

I absolutely love Chi O's, Every single one I've met has just been incredibly nice. One of our rush chairs was going out with one during the summer rush season and I immediatly found out that Chi 0's were awesome.

Here at UNL, almost all their members are in the Honors Program so they are an academic house for sure--usually second or third in grades i think, and they are of above average looks--they have a good diverse mix, but none so hot that guys are intimidated. But the main thing is how nice, and personable they are. I totally think that they are our female equivalent. I totally love em.

Well, I've only met two Chi Os besides here on Greek Chat. Both of them very classy ladies. Oh my god, this one had the cutest little southern dialect.

The Chi O's on this board are some of my favorite people ever. Nationally, however, they are lazy. Or just really busy. That may come accross the wrong way, but get off your butts and colonize at Radford!! I love ya!!

Chi Omega at Clemson is considered a very 'fun' sorority, and their girls are usually very down to earth and outgoing. They have a LOT of fun at their socials - we had a joint crush party with them last fall and it was a blast!! I have friends in Chi O at Winthrop, USC, and C of C, and all of those chapters have similar reputations - fun, party girls who have their stuff together!!

Thumbs down Chi-O at my school

I liked the Chi-O's a lot during rush, but I don't think I had a very accurate picture of what they were like back then. They are ok but not great here. For the most part they are friendly and down-to-earth, but as a rushee I did not realize how prevalent the pot-smoking was among a fair number of the girls (nothing like that in my sorority)... something I'm definitely NOT into, and I'm glad I didn't end up in a group like that. They don't all seem to get along that well as a whole. They didn't get quota last year, and I think a lot of their pledges had preffed other houses. I know some Chi-O's who actually complain about the sorority to "outsiders." There are internal cliques (I can't see certain girls being friends with some of the others in that house, that's how random some of them are), and issues as dumb as who sits at which lunch table. Not to be overly negative (and I'm not saying which school I'm at), but this is my opinion of the group as a whole. A lot of the girls are fine on an individual basis.
