Great Cookout Food!

Groan....our family just cooked out and I'm full to bursting with fresh roasted and buttered corn, hot dogs cooked over the fire, and finally S'Mores, those yummy Girl Scout favorites made from a toasted marshmallow and Hershey Bar piece sandwiched between 2 graham crackers.

What's good cookout food where you're from?

Give me my BEEF! I figure if I go to the trouble of getting the grill ready, I'm going to put some juicy steaks on.

I have recently been grilling my vegies though and they alone are soooo gooood that he steak has ALMOST become the side dish.

Mushrooms-red onion-zuccini-bell pepper-fresh greenbeans-marinated in worcestershire, olive oil, liquid smoke and Emiril's seasoning. Um-um good!

Grilled Chicken

Beer battered Bratwurst. The cheaper the beer, the better it tastes. Fresh corn and homeade potato sallad is good also.

This is my favorite recipe that my mom makes...
Marinade chicken breasts in mayonaise and italian dressing for a few hours. Grill till done, and voila! Great grilled chicken that goes with pretty much anything.

Also for those of you who are familiar with Publix grocery stores, they have this great lemon/herb rub that they can put on fresh fish, and it's always great when you grill it. I highly recommend the salmon!
