Tonight is my first night of rush and I'm so nervous. Is everyone this nervous before rush? Can you guys please give me some advice that might make this a little easier for me? Thanks!

Act calm and interested, be yourself and ask pertinent questions about the chapter and the sorority as a whole. Things like philanthropy, scholarship, activities on campus, annual events, etc.

Research the sororities that are represented on campus. See the NPC Sorority Recruitment FAQ posted on the main Rush Forum page.

Good luck..and let us know how it goes for you!

The most important thing I can stress is BE YOURSELF!! Don't try to fit a mold or be like everyone else. Some girls have it in their mind what a 'sorority girl' is supposed to do or act like. Don't fall victum to this way of thinking. Be yourself, have fun, ask questions, and relax. You'll do fine. Good Luck!
