Post your Good News here!
Hello my fellow Greek Chatters! I got into a disscussion the other night with my husband about how all we see on the news is bad news. People murdering their family members, blowing up stuff, and terrorism. The good stuff that people do does not get put on the news. So I thought it would be neat if we could post the good news. Feel free to post anything good! Totally brag about yourself or things you or your friends/family have done! I want the good news and I know its out there! I'll start!
I am teaching vacation bible school over here in the next few weeks.
My husband is in the Army (which makes me very proud) and he just started college (University of Maryland at Europe) and I am beaming with pride!!! And its free!
Ok ya'lls turn!!!!

Hey, that's cool. Is that the same campus as "University of Maryland - Mannheim, Germany"? Is so, the Sigma Sigma Sigma's actually have a collegiate chapter there..the first "overseas", isn't that cool?
Good news: well, I have a baby nephew who is about 2 months old now who is happy and healthy!

I'm going to FLA in 2 weeks for my boyfriend's sister's wedding on the beach. She's marrying a great guy and it will be beautiful.

A lot of good news here seems to be military-related, so i'll add mine.
I just got back yesterday from a 4 day weekend in Seattle with the wonderful guy I met over Memorial Day weekend (you may recall my thread about meeting him and before the trip)..... it went better than I ever could have possibly expected. I know that it's premature, getting ahead of myself, etc., but I have very strong feelings about this guy, and really thinking that he could be "the one".... I have never encountered a more kind, intelligent, caring person in my life (in addition to all the physical attraction...)
No idea where things are going to go, because his sub is going to be out quite a bit over the next eight months or so, but we're going to try.
So that's my good news!

My wedding guest list has been finalized. We have 272 people, which will (hopefully!) let us reach our 250 people limit!
My insurance rate has been lowered as of last night.

I GOT THE JOB!!!
Ok, well, not entirely officially...I have a recommendation to hire from the school principal, and now I have to meet with a few people from the school board. This is pretty much just protocol...they want to know who they're hiring and basically see that I'm not an ax murderer or a child molester.
Yay! My collegues knew that I was getting the job so they all waited for me to come out of the meeting and congratulated me! I am so excited!!!

Back in the world of work for the past couple of weeks after five long months of unemployment. Commute's long, pay's decent and I like the job.

My favorite professor said she would be more than happy to write me a recommendation for grad school!
Mr. Mox isn't making me cook tonight.
I finally found the tasty treat "Rap Snacks" in the mini-mart. I bought the Little Romeo kind.
