secrets revealed

You all will never believe what I just received in my e-mail. I just got an e-mail that revealed all the secrets of the Divine Nine except for (SgRho) that is. Some of you might have seen this but it reveals what each organizations call mean, their hand signals, etc. This raised an interesting question for me. What would possess a person who pledged an organization to reveal all of its secrets and some more? Even more importantly,how can we be more careful about the type of people we let into our organizations????

Are you sure they are the real secrets?

There's a big hobby around of people pretending to know other orgs' secrets - you can find a webpage for almost any fraternity and sorority which claims to know their secrets, and 99% of the time they are wrong.

Even so - whether they are the true secrets or not - that is terrible

I confirmed some of the info and it is true. All of the email may not be true but a lot of it is. Where did we go wrong? We go from perps to traders...what is up with that???

By the way it revealed secrets everyone except SGRHO, Omegas and Iotas!!!

That's very sad that someone would actually post other organizations secret information! If it is true - it's really sad that they would actually get the information from members of that particular organization.

It is quite frustrating to see that this email is still being spread. I remember getting it before I became a Zeta and that was 2 years ago. For some reason people can't resist the urge to hit the forward button, if they did this madness would end. However, knowing the "secrets" of an organization has no real use to people who aren't members. They don't know the significance behind it and wouldn't know how to use it properly.

With the posting of the 'secrets' of the organizations...this just goes to show how much respect that some people dont have. I hope that the secrets are not being revealed by members of the orgs...if they are members, they may not be members anymore.....its a dayum shame. -Yemaya-

I am so sorry to hear that something like that is being sent around. It is a real shame that people are actually feeding in to this and helping to keep this email going!

Greetings Ladies --

I saw that email back in '95/'96 and it had 'so-called' information for ALL organizations....'NO' one was spared.

And for most, I know their not true....I know most of all calls and 'hand' signals are not even 'official' National Organization sanctioned stuff. Most of us just 'do' it.....with 'no' meaning behind it...

So go figure... People have time to make up stuff and pass it on.... And do you really think someone in other organizations are going to 'actually' confirm this. When I first saw something regarding 'us'...I told the person, yeah...that's it and walked away laughing. Kind of like the Kappa's do with 'Phi Nu Pi'....especially since....'we' all think we know what it means...

At any rate, I pledged the organization that I wanted to be a part of....I'm not interested in other organizations' information. This is deeply disturbing....yet, funny!

I know one time this girl told me I know why 'mice' are your symbol and the 'frog'....I just looked at her and said why? .....

I bust out laughing and told her, honey believe what you want..... She thought I was trying to throw her off of our trail, but I was like....you know 'officially' nothing....... Call our National Office and tell them you know....you'll get laughed at too...

To all...a lot of us adopt stuff over the years......some symbols, hand signs, calls, and etc....their just something we picked up and continued the tradition of....

Most of 'us' Greeks get a kick out of this.

Folks that sit around and worry about bglos secrets really need to get a life. They (the secret revealers) have too much time on their hands and need to channel their time and energies to something more productive.

Sister Happy Days, you are too funny and so right! A lot of these so called "secrets" are regional, local, etc. and not official!
