Hello! I am interested in pursuing honorary initiation into Delta Gamma. Unfortunately, I do not know any DGs in my area (Houston, Texas). Does anyone know how I could pursue this opportunity?
I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself. I am 26, married, and the mother of three children. Sarah is 4, Rebekah is 2, and Jacob was born in May of this year. My original undergraduate institution did not have a Greek system which is why I never rushed. Later, after getting married, I transferred to the University of Michigan, and while they did have a Greek system, I was....well....married.
I never thought I would have the opportunity to be a member, but recently someone told me about honorary initiations. And here I am.
As a person, I am very academically oriented, having graduated from the University of Michigan with a 3.8 average. I am very involved in community service and have served in several leadership callings in charitable organizations. Some people think I'm nice and at least my husband thinks I'm cute.
Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
