On behalf of the ladies of the UF chapter,
I would just like to say that they are all VERY beautiful!!!
I have met many of them at Florida State Day's of the past...
That being the closest Phi Mu chapter to me in Miami it is the chapter I have visited most....and they all are VERY nice and VERY pretty! maybe that moron just doesn't know a REAL woman when he sees one...whatever

guys can be such morons sometimes!!! ARGUHHHH!

If the moron had said something about my GLO and sisters, naturally I'd be flaming mad.

But please, just leave this jerk alone. Please don't even think of stooping to his level of immaturity.

We never know who's reading these message forums, so I'd caution anyone who wishes to try and get revenge at this guy. Remember, you're attached to your letters.

True, his comments about your UF sisters totally merits 'letters of disgust'... but as a victim of unsolicited emails, I really suggest you stay away from doing that.

Who knows...a few months from now, you may regret something you might've done.

I am not condoning going around bashing him...I am just saying that he is a moron...

I wouldnt email him nasty letters either..i just think that he needs to maybe open his eyes before he posts such an ugly comment like that online...you NEVER know who is reading that

im not sure how other org's work but here PR is everything...and considering how BIG UF is...it is VERY easy to assume that SOME UF sisters have read and do read this message board...of course word spreads through what i like to call the "greek vine" and eventually u have people who have bitterness between what one person said...it ends up affecting not this guy...but Pike @ UF and Phi Mu @ UF as a whole...something similar happened to my chapter with another fraternity on our campus and now we voted as a chapter to not mix with them until they respected us and gave us the dignity we deserved...

Emailing him will just make it worse...but that guy seriously has no clue...whatever..
and correct me if im wrong but there are a few UF sisters that post here on occasion...i know that would hurt me if i saw that... posted about my chapter...

ALSO im not sure if my info is correct but in response to what UF_Pike said "that chapter may cease to exist if they dont get pledges...." im not sure if i am correct but Pike @ UF has been kicked off campus before and just recently in the past few years was admitted back...hmmmm not sure but makes you think....
whatever..guys will never change...

I'm sorry UF_Pike said something in such a tactless way...I would die if he said something so mean about my chapter...(btw, how on earth did that come up? Was there a thread somewhere like "how are Phi Mu's on your campus?")

Anyway, on a lighter note...there were two times in the beginning of my freshman year that were hard, but two of your Phi Mu sisters made those times fun.

One was Kari M., who lived on my floor during summer B, and was my psuedo roomate and very close friend...she pledged spring 2002 and loves Phi Mu to death.

The other was Ashley B, who was in my rush group (Group 2!!) and she was there for me the whole week when I was grouchy and tired and nervous and excited (and every other emotion on the spectrum). She was considering moving back to Arkansas but she's staying so I'm happy.

They're two awesome girls...they're beautiful and fun and intelligent and I'm sure they wouldn't enjoy their chapter so much if their sisters weren't also beautiful and fun and intelligent. I know you love your sorority, too, so if someone says something not-so-nice about you, well...you know better, right?

ps: I love "The Greek vine!" Clever!

I just couldn't resist replying to him. Nothin nasty, just to clear up his misconceptions, mainly about rush. I was asst. rush chair last year, so straight from the horse's mouth here goes.

In 2000 we had the largest pledge class on bid day.
In 2001 we had one of the largest. We've made quota at least the past couple years, which is all I know for sure, so I promise, we're not on the verge of ceasing to exist. We're doing fine!

Furthermore, his comment just made me sad/angry, because several of my greatest guy friends over the last 4 years have been Pikes at UF and to think there's someone out there representing them like that is upsetting.

Oh well, just had to clear it up.
Thanks ROWDYsister for your comment. My best friend from high school pledged PiPhi at UF in 98.

And Phi Mu, just keep being beautiful and classy. We know what we're made of for the past 150 years.

If I recall correctly, isn't the great-great grandaughter of one of our founders a sister in the UF chapter?

Yup she is...she is super nice too...
i met her and a few other UF sisters @ Florida State Day...it was alot of fun...
